It’s Halloween! And thus the end of the Shadows of the Mad King content extravaganza. The Mad King is behaving himself and cracking horrible jokes in Lions Arch. According to the GuildWars 2 Website, there are some events to take part in and the Mad King will be handing out some loot. Although I’m sure the loot is cool and worth waiting for, after about 10 minutes of following the big guy around I lost my patience and logged out.
For those who have not yet (such as myself), today is the last day to get all of the Halloween achievements. I once again attempted to beat the clock tower, but after about an hour I decided I had enough.
That’s it for this update! If this is any indication, it appears ArenaNet will be giving a good amount of attention to themed content patches like this. All players can do is hope they put out a Thanksgiving and/or Christmas themed patch in the future.
